Dear yogis and yoginis,
The sun is entering Aries this week, precisely Thursday March 19th. This day is also the spring equinox, which is one of the two days a year when light and darkness are in balance. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, the Ram, bringing a courageous, adventurous energy which is eager to lead and embark in new beginnings.
There are quite a few shifts of energy this week, which may feel as if we were being pulled in two opposing directions:
- Mercury moves back from forward thinking Aquarius to emotional Pisces, which may make communications a bit muddy
- On Saturday March 21st Saturn moves from traditional, old-school Capricorn to forward thinking, futurist Aquarius, marking the first Saturn return for Millenials born between 1990-1992
- Mars, also in Capricorn, makes two conjunctions this week with very different energies: a very positive, expanding, Mars-Jupiter conjunction on Friday (Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system), and later on Sunday, a difficult Mars-Pluto meeting bringing friction and power struggles. Maybe it is a good idea to stay at home on Sunday!
