Xmas timetable, Xmas offers, new classes, FREE restorative yoga taster and MORE!!!

Dear yogis and yoginis,
First I want to send out some full moon blessings for tonight’s full moon in Gemini. There’s a lot of numerical synchronicity with this full moon as it falls on the 12th day of the 12th month at 12:12h. In numerology we look at 1 + 2 = 3 —-> the energy of one individual in union with another gives birth to something new, creation. Creation can only happen where there has been separation (1+1) and duality exists (2) so union is possible in this realm and from that union there is a birth of something new. Repetition is usually a good omen of synchronicity and higher vibration.

I am only hoping that all the separation and extremism we are going through as a collective can take a new turn with the full moon falling on election’s day tomorrow and that indeed the numbers are right and it can be the birth of something new! We will be holding a meditation for positive change at the end of class tonight 8-8.15pm right under the moon at The Glass House. If you are not coming to class don’t worry, you can join us from wherever you are. The more the merrier!

Astral insights, classes

This weeks yoga and astral insights

Dear yogis and yoginis,old-door-knobs-unique-vintage-door-handles-close-that-doors-vintage-doors-and-door-knobs

They say as one door closes another one opens – but don’t we all dread those in-between moments where there are no doors to be seen aside from the one we just shut!

We are at the end of a cycle now, end of Pisces, lots of planets coming up to Neptune, the home of dreams, magic and mystic. Neptune teaches us about our illusions and pushes us to deal with dis-illusion – sometimes these are tough lessons to digest… who wants to see their beautiful sand castle fall apart?

Disillusion is no fun, although isn’t it empowering to be able to put the cards on the table and deal with the reality of things face on? Not having to make ourselves bigger or smaller but just showing up as we really are, leaving our own ‘illusions’ behind. This is a moment to come to terms with reality and find truth within ourselves, our relationships, our life meaning and purpose.

Thankfully, parting with these dreams and illusions we created means that we will have new fresh space to start from scratch and rebuild, new dreams, new ways, new eyes… It is never too late to start again. The closer to our core we are, the easier our path will be, so this is fruitful work to be done!

This week’s yoga

Wednesday 7-8.15pm
Open Level
Upper Hocking Hall (WPCA), Yerbury Road, N19 4RS

Note that there are no classes this Saturday due to the Easter break

Here is Kaypacha’s mantra for the week… Inhale, aaaaaand… go!

The death of innocent illusion,
Makes it hard to believe again,
But dream I will and with work and faith,
Be triumphant in the end.

Dream on!!!

Enjoy and see you on the mat very soon

Spring Equinox Yoga and Sound Bath 2019

52353317_10156758188970617_5852609955525296128_n

Last Wednesday March 20th we celebrated the Spring Equinox coupled with quite an awesome alignment: a supermoon in Libra during Mercury retrograde… woop!!!

The Spring Equinox starts the new astrological year. We finish all of our inward work:  we planted our seeds during Imbolc and made sure our roots grew nice and strong. This is our last chance to check in with all honesty and see if there are any obstacles which may still be hindering our intentions. When Ostara comes we break through to the outside world and our first little shoots start to show. Day and night are equal length and from now onwards light prevails.

The energy of this time of year can be quite conflicting as we are drawn to jump into the new,  with the sun shining a little more, while our bodies and minds go on a detox party – this is why illness is quite common at this time. Our bodies need rest while they detox as they’re pumping toxins out. The important task to be in our bodies and listen to them comes to play here and this is why we bring our Yoga and Sound Baths to the community!

The room was filled with creative energy last Wednesday – including an unintended all female group – lots of creative Ostara enegy! Bathed by the supermoon we all joined into powerful ritual after our practice, you could almost see the sparks of energy flying up to the moonlit sky through the sunroof!

Our ceremony was closed in a sharing circle with yummy grounding Ostara treats and cleansing nettle tea. Our intentions were set and sent through. Our bodies were cleansed and reset. We felt calm and energised. And we shared and laughed with friends – the most important healing of all!

Happy Ostara to you all and see you on May 1st when we celebrate beautiful Beltane.

💚
